The Rocky Mountain Book Award is an excellent program for developing literacy because it encourages young adults to read a variety of genres by Canadian authors and helps them cultivate and sustain their love of reading.

The Rocky Mountain Book Award is an Alberta based program designed to connect young readers with exemplary Canadian literature.
